M’Cook B

The M’Cook body, held in cast bronze. The pan that gets left on the table.

For an open kitchen, or anyone who would rather not decant into a serving dish.

Identical five-ply construction to M’Cook — 2.6 mm, 18/10 stainless cooking surface, three aluminium layers, ferritic stainless outside, induction compatible. The change is the handle: cast bronze, engraved, warm against the cool mirror of the pan.

It costs a little more and it is worth it if the cookware is visible. Bronze against polished stainless is one of the few genuinely handsome combinations in cookware, and it is the reason this collection ends up serving at the table rather than going straight back to the hob.

Bronze runs cooler than steel over long cooking, which is a real and often overlooked advantage on a rondeau or a cocotte.
